About Howler
The howler monkey is the loudest land animal in the world. When in danger, the howler lets out an alarming howl that can be heard from over 3km away. This is to alert the other howlers about the impending danger.
The name Howler Alert Technologies was chosen as we alert our Clients about the impending danger of a possible mechanical or electrical failure with our reliability services and online monitoring systems.

Our Competitive Difference
The real point of difference between Howler Alert Technologies and its competitors is that Howler can provide completely customisable solutions for our clients’ condition monitoring needs. Where a solution does not already exist, Howler will find a way to solve it.
When it comes to reliability services, experience does matter. For example, it takes many years of collecting and analysing vibration data from all sorts of machines and from all sorts of industries to build up the expertise to be both confident and accurate in vibration analysis. Howler Alert Technologies senior vibration analysts have decades of experience in a multitude of industries.
With online monitoring systems, Howler Alert Technologies does not sell someone else’s system and then walks away leaving even more of a burden on the maintenance personnel. Howler provides a customisable and comprehensive online monitoring solution. This is achieved by utilising in-house developed state of the art hardwired and wireless technology (derived from its truck wheel sensor), which continuously monitors critical assets of a plant. The data is accessible via Howler Alert Technologies secure portal where senior vibration analysts are able to diagnose and report upon the condition of the plant. This has the benefit of comprehensive monitoring combined with expert diagnostics to provide the ultimate solution for plant reliability.
Only the Best
Aussie Made and Aussie Owned
Our highly skilled and experienced team have worked hard to design monitoring products that are made here in Australia, and all of our monitoring services and administration is done on-shore.
Experienced
Our industry is struggling with lack of experience as vibration certificates only require a 1 week course and six months field experience. A certificate does not necessarily mean competence. At Howler Alert Technologies, we only have one technician with less than 10 years of experience.
Complete Service
Howler provides a customisable and comprehensive reliability solution for your equipment.
Our History
Howler Alert Technologies was founded in 2015. Originally, the company was known as Wheel Alert Technologies as it had a determination to develop a world first condition monitoring wheel sensor for the trucking industry. This senor detects bearing, brake and tyre issues live during the journey of the vehicle and immediately alerts both driver and headquarters of any issues found.
The highly skilled and experienced team produced a unique sensor to reliably communicate data out of a deep-dish truck wheel while operating in one of the harshest environments. Along the journey to producing the sensor, Wheel Alert Technologies received a proof-of- concept grant from the South Australian government, was a finalist at Pitch@Palace Australia 3.0 in Perth and, out of the whole of Australia, was one of 16 start-up businesses selected to pitch in front of 100 investors including Steve Baxter from Shark Tank.
Wheel Alert Technologies was on the path to commercialising its sensor ….. that was until the pandemic hit. Like many businesses, Wheel Alert Technologies found it necessary to pivot and return to its roots to remain operational, and Howler Alert Technologies was born.
Howler Alert Technologies has used the knowledge from its truck wheel sensor to develop its own hardwired and wireless industrial online vibration monitoring systems.
The latest technology developed in-house, coupled with expert analysts, enables Howler to deliver a superior service which is not only affordable, but a significant step towards optimal plant reliability.
